About Our Designated Funds
Like most youth orchestra programs, tuition and ticket sales only cover 50% of our total costs. We rely on financial contributions like yours to help us continue offering quality programs to our students. Your gift is 100% tax deductible, and very much appreciated.

You may designate your donation to the following programs:
Laureano Legacy Fund - Established to honor Claudette and Manny Laureano for their 25 years of dedicated service to MYS as Co-Artistic Directors. The fund provides special programming activities to foster artistic excellence and growth, as well as scholarships.
Carissa Hayen Memorial Scholarship Fund - Carissa Hayen was a French horn player who passed away in 2000. Established in her memory, this fund provides scholarships for MYS students with financial need.
Rachel Serber Memorial Scholarship Fund - This fund provides scholarships for brass students in memory of a beloved MYS student.
Instrument Fund - This fund allows MYS to purchase the specialty instruments that MYS repertoire requires and provides students the opportunity to experience playing them.
Mary West Memorial Scholarship Fund - This fund provides scholarships in memory of noted violin teacher Mary West, and may be used for private string instrument instruction, music camps, or other continuing music education opportunities.
