Student Handbook and Attendance Policy
The 2010-11 MYS Student Handbook is an important source of information throughout the concert season. The Handbook will be distributed to MYS students at the first rehearsal of the season, you may also Click here to download the 2011-12 Student Handbook.
New Student Referral Tuition Rebate Program
Students may receive a tuition rebate for referring new student musicians. If the new student is accepted into and joins MYS, the referring student may receive a tuition rebate. Rebate request forms must be received by March 1. Download the Student Referral Rebate Request Form.
MYS inclement weather policy
MYS staff will determine if a rehearsal is canceled by Saturday morning, 7:00 am. If rehearsal is canceled due to inclement weather, MYS staff will post a notification on the website, post a message on the MYS voicemail, and announce the closing on WCCO radio.
Keep in mind we are unable to make up canceled rehearsals, therefore weather would have to be particularly treacherous to cause a cancellation.
