Tuition
For the 2008-09 season of MYS the tuition rates are as follows:

| Philharmonic Orchestra | $193 | $550 |
| Repertory Orchestra | $200 | $600 |
| Symphony Orchestra | $200 | $600 |
Tuition is due at the first rehearsal. Payment per trimester incurs a $30 processing fee for the year.
There is a 10% discount for families with multiple children in the program. Deferred payment plans are available.
The retreat fee for Philharmonic, Repertory, and Symphony is $85, the String Orchestra retreat fee is $30. More about the mandatory retreats can be found here; Rehearsals and Retreats
Scholarship Program
The Carissa Hayen Memorial Scholarship Program is a need-based financial assistance program that helps with tuition expenses for MYS students. Approximately twelve percent (45) of MYS students are scholarship recipients. No qualified student is turned away because of financial reasons.

Tuition Rebates
Current MYS students may receive a tuition rebate when they refer a new student who is accepted into and joins MYS.
