Join us for our final concert of the season, as special guest ensemble, the Minnesota Chorale and Singers in Accord, joins the Symphony Orchestra for what is sure to be an exciting performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 2. Come celebrate all four MYS orchestras as we wrap-up yet another wonderful season!

String Orchestra and Symphonic Choir Holiday Concert

Join the MYS String Orchestra and members of the Symphonic Choir on Saturday, December 13 at 1:00pm for holiday classics and an old-fashioned carol sing-along. The performance takes place at Macy’s Court on the lower level of Rosedale Center, Roseville, and is sponsored by Blue Sky Creamery and Caribou Coffee. This concert is free and open to the public.
Spring Concert featuring Hannah Peterson

Join us for our season finale concert featuring flutist Hannah Peterson, a winner of the MYS Symphony Solo Competition, and Shostakovich’s Ninth Symphony. ~Tickets are charged a $2.25 facility fee by the Orchestra Hall Box Office. Phone, online, and mail orders are charged a transaction fee of $4.75, there is no transaction fee for in-person purchases.
Winter Concert featuring Max Lundgren

Join us at Grace Church for a concert featuring cellist Max Lundgren, a winner of the MYS Symphony Solo Competition, performing Elgar's Cello Concerto. Minnesota Public Radio's Mindy Ratner is our host for the evening. Also on the program - Dvorak's "New World Symphony," Sibelius' "Finlandia," and music from the movie, "Amistad," featuring area choirs. Tickets are on sale.

The 2008-09 season opens at Orchestra Hall with a concert featuring special guest artist Peter Ostroushko, multi-instrumentalist extraordinaire, performing “Orange Blossom Special” with the MYS Symphony, Copland’s “Rodeo,” Wagner’s “Die Meistersinger,” and much more.
