Farewell Announcement

Our incomparable Operations Manager, Aisling O'Sullivan Goel, will mark her last day with MYS this Friday, July 14. Aisling has been an integral part of our organization for the past two years, and while we are sad to see her go, we are also excited for her new opportunity as the adjunct lecturer of horn at UW-Eau Claire.

Aisling's attention to detail and commitment to moving MYS forward have left a lasting mark on our organization. We are grateful for her exceptional contributions and wish her the very best in her new role. She will be greatly missed!

Here is a farewell message from Aisling:

I am so grateful to have had this opportunity to work at MYS! I absolutely loved playing in MYS as a student, and I feel fortunate to have been able to return as a member of the administrative staff. I really enjoyed getting to know many of you and your families. The MYS community is truly special. Thank you for all of your support!

The hiring process is currently underway, and we hope to announce our new Operations Manager in the coming weeks.

2023–24 MYS Enrollment

Congratulations to all students who auditioned and were accepted into MYS in June! As a reminder, the deadline to accept the audition placement is Monday, July 17.

PRE-SEASON CHECKLIST

☐ Submit your MYS Acceptance Form (due July 17)

☐ Pay your $100 Deposit (due July 17)

☐ Submit your MYS Enrollment Form (due August 31)

☐ Pay first trimester or full-year tuition (due August 31)

☐ Complete and return Retreat Permission Form & Media Release Form (will be sent in August)
☐ Attend a virtual parent meeting (September 6–8)

☐ Rehearsals begin! (Saturday, September 9)

August Auditions

Additional audition dates have been scheduled for students who missed signing up to audition in June or couldn't make it.

  Thursday, August 3–Friday, August 4
  3:00–6:00 PM

  Macalester College

  Saint Paul, MN 55105

• Fee:
  A non-refundable audition fee of $50* is due at registration.

  *Note: August audition fees will be waived for the following high-need instruments: viola, bass, flute, horn, trombone, and percussion.

LOST & FOUND
