  • Listen, Listen, Listen (& repeat!)

  • Seriously! Especially for Brahms! The better you understand how the rhythjs work and interact in this piece the better and easier our reharsals will be!

  • Practice difficult rhythms with your metronome, too!

December 6

  • Continue to listen to your recordings

  • Please go through technical passages slowly, tjhen speed up gradually as you feel comfortable

  • Practice with your metronome :-)

November 22

  • Keep practicing and listening during the Thanksgiving break!

  • Pay very close attention to intonation and practice phrasing within your own part.

  • Listening to recordings will help you understand what the composer wants :-)
