Retreats
Overview
Students will participate in an extended retreat day on October 10 consisting of rehearsals, sectionals, sightreading, and social activities. MYS will provide the meal(s). Students must arrange their own transportation to the retreat.

Repertory & Symphony Orchestras: Edina High School, 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
Philharmonic Orchestra: Edina High School, 9:00 AM–4:30 PM
Wind & String Orchestras: Macalester College, 8:30 AM–1:30 PM
Chamber Ensemble: Macalester College, 12:00–1:30 PM
Location

Attendance
Attendance is expected and encouraged for the entire day of retreat. However, if a student needs to arrive late or leave early from retreat, please submit an absence form by Friday, September 25, to assist with rehearsal and meal planning.
Students will not be permitted to leave early without prior notification and parent permission. If you have questions about retreat attendance, please contact Melissa Morey.
